Magnets4Energy is a scam

This appears to the the latest incarnation of the Magniwork scam. The basic premise, being able to build a perpetual motion machine from magnets to generate energy is not possible.

People build generators and alternators all the time, but they always require a source of power to turn them. The energy going in (water falling / dam turbine, wind blowing / wind mill, car engine running / car alternator, high pressure steam / generating station, etc.) is transformed into electrical energy. The process is not perfect, and a great deal of energy is lost as heat. The idea that none of this is necessary (the dams, wind turbines, coal, gas and diesel engines) because you can simply harness a perpetual energy machine -- has been discredited for more than a century.

Nobody has *ever* demonstrated a machine that puts out more energy than it consumes, nor is it likely either.

The following statements are from magnets4energy:

  1. Our generator runs totally by itself, without the need for any outside energy sources.
  2. What's being released to you is secret information the government doesn't want you to know about.
  3. the technology of magnetic energy has become so powerful that an entire house can be powered just by using the energy from a small magnet - making all other nonrenewable energy sources obsolete.

These are simply lies.

I have a detailed review of the Earth4Energy scam from what appears to be the same scammers, and it appears that they have moved from gross stretching of the truth ($200 to power your home with solar and wind when $10,000 is a more realistic budget) to going all the way -- perpetual motion and conspiracy.

If you believe perpetual machines are possible, have a look at the museum of unworkable devices hosted at Lock Haven University. I'll repeat the introduction here because it is a marvelous piece of sarcasm:

"This museum is a celebration of fascinating devices that don't work. It houses diverse examples of the perverse genius of inventors who refused to let their thinking be intimidated by the laws of nature, remaining optimistic in the face of repeated failures. Watch and be amazed as we bring to life eccentric and even intricate perpetual motion machines that have remained steadfastly unmoving since their inception. Marvel at the ingenuity of the human mind, as it reinvents the square wheel in all of its possible variations. Exercise your mind to puzzle out exactly why they don't work as the inventors intended."

If that still doesn't convince you, then please send me a donation and I will start working immediately on plans for my new warp coil, food replicator and Klingon cloaking devices. I can't sell you any finished devices because the CIA is watching .. and the FBI and NSA and Homeland Security and the KGB and Mossad and the Bundesnachrichtendienst and even "he who can't be named" ...

comments = Regarding magnets4energy, I researched it for 5 hours. It is indeed a scam, and a very cleverly advertised one. I am not against zero-point energy so I have no axe to grind (most detractors simply state that it's impossible without researching it, thus alienating all the folks like me who consider that it might be possible); had their information merit, the 5 hours would have been well worth it. You may pass this on to others like me who wish to save 5 hours of time.
